CAPTURED AND DIED AS A PRISONER OF WAR IN GERMANY, ON 05/10/1918, AGED 35.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 25/06/1918, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH *, ON 26/06/1918, AND 30/04/1919. HIS NAME WAS ALSO RECORDED ON THE ST MARKS STREET MEMORIAL.
