SERVED AS PRIVATE, 21958, 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, ON 10/07/1916. WOUNDED ON THE 15/07/1916. MISSING AND REPORTED KILLED ON 17/07/1916, AGED 23. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
