HIS UNMARRIED WIFE WAS BEATRICE JOY JACKSON, WHO LIVED AT 1, KENT STREET, HOLDERNESS ROAD, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS)
HE SERVED WITH THE 1/4TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS AND WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 15/09/1916, AGED 23.
JOHN’S DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 1ST NOVEMBER 1916, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. HIS WAR PENSION WENT TO HIS UNMARRIED WIFE, BEATRICE JOY JACKSON, OF 1 KENT STREET, HOLDERNESS ROAD, HULL
HIS BROTHER, JOSEPH COUSINS, WAS KILLED ON 06/10/1918, AGED 24. BY THIS TIME THE FAMILY HAD MOVED TO 59 ARUNDEL STREET, HOLDERNESS ROAD, HULL.
HIS OTHER BROTHER, PRIVATE, JAMES COUSINS, 79253, DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY, DIED ON 24/08/1923, AGED 26, OF WAR RELATED INJURIES (PENSION RECORDS).
