HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 24/04/1919. UNMARRIED. HE LEFT FAMILY, SARAH ELIZABETH, HERBERT HENRY, RICHARD AND MARY.
BURIED AT PERNES CEMETERY, PAS DE CALAIS, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “HE WAS ONLY SENT TO US FOR A SHORT TIME UNTIL WE MEET FROM HIS MOTHER”
HIS BROTHER HENRY & HIS WIFE ANNIE, JOYCE & RICHARD COX, ALL DIED IN THE SYKES STREET FIRE, ON 20/05/1931.
