RETURNED HOME, ON 17/09/1916. DISCHARGED WITH TUBERCULOSIS, ON 16/04/1917. HE DIED OF PHITIHIS, ON 11/03/1918, AGED 33. BURIED IN HULL NORTHERN CEMETERY. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “AT REST”.
