BORN BRIDLINGTON 1892. SON OF FRED CREASER (1870-1944) AND MARY ELIZABETH THOMPSON (1870-1913), OF 54 ST JOHN’S WALK, BRIDLINGTON. ONE OF SEVEN CHILDREN. HE MARRIED MINNIE WRAY (1891-1967), AT HULL, ON 15/04/1911 AND HAD TWO DAUGHTERS, DOROTHY (BORN 07/07/1912) AND MARY (BORN 24/01/1914). THEY LIVED AT CAMPBELL STREET, HULL. HE WORJED AS A GAS FITTER.
HE ENLISTED IN BRIDLINGTON. SERVED AS PRIVATE, 1272, 5TH YORKSHIRE HUSSARS. HE DIED OF RHEUMATIC FEVER, PHEUMONIA AND DIALIATON OF THE HEART, CONTRACTED ON ACTIVE SERVICE, ON 18/10/1914, AGED 22. HE IS BURIED AT DARLINGTON WEST CEMETERY, DURHAM.
HIS NAME WAS RECORDED ON THE WW1 MEMORIAL AT ST THOMAS CHURCH, CAMPBELL STREET, WHICH WAS DESTROYED IN AN AIR RAID DURING WW2.
