Born Beverley, 1899. Son of Robert (1870-1937) and Emily Cross (1873-1951), of East End, Walkington, Beverley, East Yorkshire.
Served in the 2nd York and Lancaster Regiment. Died 11 April 1918, aged 19. Buried at The Huts Cemetery, Belgium.
Note: His pension records say he died on 14 May 1918. CWGC records state he Died 11 April 1918.
