Born Hull, 1884. Son of Christopher and Rose Annie Davidson, of Backhill, Aldbrough, Hull, Yorks.
Served in the Royal Field Artillery, 155th Bde. Posted to France, on 25/08/ 1915. Died on Influenza, on 04/04/1919, aged 35. His army effects were left to his mother. Buried in in France. His grave inscription, reads, “SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS FROM HIS LOVING MOTHER AND BROTHERS”
