HE ENLISTED IN THE ROYAL NAVY, ON 04/02/1916. SERVED AS BOY, FIRST CLASS, ON HMS “RENOWN”. DIED OF PNEUMONIA & TUBERCULOSIS, ON 19/05/1919, AGED 20.
HE IS BURIED AT HEDON CEMETERY, HULL. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “PEACE PERFECT PEACE”
