DIED AT HOME FROM THE EFFECTS OF GAS POISONING, ON 11/02/1918, AGED 27. HE IS NOT LISTED ON ETON ST MEMORIAL? WAS GIVEN A FULL MILITARY FUNERAL WHICH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 18TH FEBRUARY 1918. HE IS BURIED IN A CWGC GRAVE AT HULL WESTERN CEMETERY. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER EMMA HEPWORTH, SISTER, ELIZABETH A. PEARSON, AND BROTHER, IN LAW, JOHN PADDISON.
