Born Loughborough, Leicestershire, 17 Aug 1895. Only Son of Annie Keyte (1860-1941), of 107, Loyd Road., Northampton, and the late Fred Dexter (1860-1908). His mother moved to 7, Harrison’s Rooms, Municipal Hospital, Fountain Road, Hull (war Pension address). He had five sisters, two of which died at birth. He worked as a Clerk in a Brewery Office
Enlisted at Westminster, London. Served as Rifleman, in the 1st/16th Bn., London Regiment (Queen’s Westminster Rifles). Killed in action on 01/07/1916, aged 20. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France. His army effects were left to his mother, Annie.
