HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A DRIVER IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 23/06/1917, AGED 26. COMMEMORATED AO THE MENIN GATE MEMORIAL, AT YPRES, BELGIUM.
