Douglas, George Thomas

Born Skeffling, East Yorkshire, 1892. Son of Thomas Douglas and Mary Jane Douglas, of The Garth, Skeffling, East Yorkshire (War Pension address).

He had three brothers and two sisters. Worked as a Farm servant, at Waxholme, Withernsea E York (1911 Census)

He enlisted in Hull. Formerly, Private,  1331, East Yorkshire Regiment. Transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, 13th Bn. Died of wounds, on 22/09/1918, aged 26, at the 8th Ambulance Train, France.

His army effects were left to his mother, Mary Jane.
