Born Hull, 1894. Only son of Walter Drinkall (1871-1940) and Alice Wilson (1875-1970), of 1, Union Court, Great Union Street, Hull and 2, Popple Place, Popple Street, Hull (War pension address). Son of a Labourer. He had three sisters.
He enlisted in Hull. Served in the Durham Light Infantry. Discharged as Disabled. Committed suicide, while insane, on 01/06/1924, aged 30.
