Eade, George William

Born South Shields, Durham on 22/08/1889. Eldest child and only son of Elizabeth Orman (formerly Eade), of 13, New King St., Hull, and the late George William Eade. He had five sisters. He originally joined the Royal Naval reserve, before enlisting at Beverley in the army. Transferred to the 2nd Cambridgeshire Regiment. He died of pneumonia, caught on active service, in Beverley on 09/01/1917, aged 28. He is buried in Hull Western Cemetery.

He left a widow, Martha Ann Eade, at 1, Ann’s Place, Cottingham Drain side, Charles Street, Hull (war Pension address). They had no children.
