HE WAS EDUCATED AT STONEFERRY SCHOOL, HULL.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 21/10/1915. SERVED WITH THE 3RD EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. WOUNDED IN FRANCE. HE DIED ON 20/01/1919, AGED 25, AT THE VOLUNTARY AID DETACHMENT HOSPITAL, COTTINGHAM ROAD, HULL. BURIED AT HULL HEDON ROAD CEMETERY.

HIS NAME IS RECORDED WITH HIS BROTHER, ON THE ELSTERNWICK * DANTHORPE WW1 MEMORIAL, WHERE 24 MEN SERVED AND 4 DIED IN WW1. GEORGE EDWARD FENN IS ALSO RECORDED ON THE HUMBLETON WW1 MEMORIAL (47 MEN AND 6 DIED).
HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, HERBERT FENN, 28427, SERVED WITH THE 7TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 09/06/1918, AGED 21. BURIED AT ACHEUX BRITISH CEMETERY, SOMME, FRANCE.
