HE LIVED 1AT 6, FERRY AVENUE, STONEFERRY ROAD & 18 SPRINGFIELD VILLAS, STONEFERRY ROAD, HULL.

ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 7TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 09/06/1918, AGED 21. BURIED AT ACHEUX BRITISH CEMETERY, SOMME, FRANCE. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER HENRY.
HIS BROTHER, L/CPL, GEORGE FENN, 3RD EYR, DIED OF WOUNDS, IN HULL, ON 20/01/1919. BURIED AT HULL HEDON ROAD CEMETERY. HIS UNCLE, ARTHUR JARVIS, (HIS MOTHER’S BROTHER) WAS ALSO KILLED IN THE WAR.

HIS NAME IS RECORDED ON THE ELSTERNWICK * DANTHORPE WW1 MEMORIAL, WHERE 24 MEN SERVED AND 4 DIED IN WW1.
