Born East Hartlepol, Durham, 1882. Son of Charles Bernard Fitzpatrick (1856-1888) and Adela Bridget Holder (1859-1911), of Hartlepool. He enlisted in Hull, joining the local Royal Garrison Artillery. Formerly 17, 2Nd Hull H.B., R.G.A. He died in Hull, on Christmas Day, 25/12/1914, aged 33 and is buried at Hull Hedon Road Cemetery. His grave inscription, reads, “R.I.P.”.
An inquest into his death reported, that he had committed suicide, gassing himself, whilst temporarily insane.
