Enlisted at Scarborough. Served as Gunner, 755394, “B” Bty. 251st Bde., Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds, as a Prisoner of War, on 17/10/1918, aged 26. He is buried in Germany. His army effects were left to his mother, Elizabeth.
