Born Andover, Hampshire, 1891. Son of Sidney Henry Forder and Elizabeth Ellery, of 17, Portland Place, Andover, Hampshire (CWGC address).
He enlisted in Hull. Served in the 1st Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment. Died of wounds, on 19/12/1915, aged 25, at the18th Field Ambulance hospital. He is buried at Hop Store Cemetery, outside Ypres, Belgium.
