BORN HULL, 1863. SON OF CHARLES PORTER FOX (1842-1906( AND JEMIMA WHITE (1839-1883). HE HAD THREE SISTERS AND ONE BROTHER.
HE WAS INDENTURED INTO THE MERCHANT NAVY, ON 13 SEPTEMBER 1879. WORKED AS A FISHERMAN.
MARRIED ADA BELL (1872-1943), AT HULL IN 1896, AGED 33. THEY HAD SEVEN CHILDREN (FIVE DAUGHTERS AND 2 SONS). THEY LIVED AT 3, SCARBOROUGH TERRACE, MARMADUKE STREET, HULL (1901 CENSUS), 1, HERBERTS TERRACE, WESTBOURNE STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS) AND 45, GILLETT STREET, HULL
HE WAS A FISHERMAN ON THE FISHING VESSEL, “ROSARY” H410. DIED AT SEA OFF SPURN POINT, ON 15/02/1915, AGED 55.
HIS DEATH & ADDRESS WERE REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 17TH FEBRUARY 1916. NO CWGC RECORD.
