Born South Cave, Yorkshire, 1884. He married at Hull in 1908. Husband of Lizzie Pinder Allison, of Ellerker, Brough, East Yorkshire. He had two children, Alice and George Freer.
He enlisted in Hull. Formerly 38189, E. Yorks Regt. Transferred to the 2/4th KOYLI. Killed in action, on 27/11/1917. Buried at Cambrai, France.
His army effects were left to his widow, Lizzie.
