Born Hull 17 Aug 1890. Step Son of George Robert Jackson and Betsey Elizabeth Jackson, of 82 Spyvee Street Hull (1911 Census). He was a Labourer – Tan Yard

Enlisted on 16 Aug 1914. Posted to Egypt on 30 June 1915. Served in the 6th and 11th East Yorkshire Regiment. Transferred to the 9th York & Lancaster Regiment. Discharged on 4 Oct 1917, aged 27. Awarded the Silver war Badge (No; 274214). Died on 4 Jan 1921.
