BEFORE THE WAR HE WAS A SEED CRUSHER FOR MESSRS. CHAMBERS & FARGUS, LIME STREET, HULL.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1/4TH EAST YORKSHIRE, IN FRANCE FROM 1915. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 26/10/1916, AGED 24.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 13TH NOVEMBER 1916, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
