BORN WOOLWICH 1879. SON OF THE LATE WILLIAM ARTHUR GREFORY. WIFE MINNIE ETHEL (COLLINS).
The British trawler Andromache was on her way back from the fishing grounds of Iceland, when on April 14th 1917, she was stopped west of the Shetlands by the German submarine U-78 (Otto Dröscher). The master was taken prisoner and the crew of 11 ordered to the lifeboats. She was then scuttled and sunk. Nothing was ever heard of the lifeboats.
