MARRIED AT ST MATHIAS, BURLEY, LEEDS ON 27/11/1915. HUSBAND OF ALICIA JUBB (1894-1971), OF 1, RAGLAN AVENUE, RAGLAN STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION RECORDS).

HE ENLISTED AT LEEDS. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 24565, WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, “C” COMPANY, 12TH PLATOON. ON 17/02/1918 HE WAS ASSIGNED TO THE 10TH ENTRNCHING BATTALION. ON 09/04/1918, HE TRANSFERRED AS PRIVATE, 23574, 6TH DORSET REGIMENT, ALONG WITH 65 OTHER RANKS AS REINFORCEMENTS. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 15/04/1918, AGED 24. ONE OF 8 MEN KILLED, AT MESNIL, THAT DAY.

HE IS BURIED AT MARTINSART BRITISH CEMETERY, SOMME, FRANCE
