Hall, Edward Eden

Born Ruswalp, Northumberland, 1894. Son of George and Esther Hall of Carr Hill Lane, Sleights, Yorkshire (near Whitby). He had two elder brothers and one elder sister.

Brother of married sister, Sarah Jane Frater of 67, Askew Avenue, Gipsyville, Hull (War Pension address)

He was a storekeeper, living at 21 Haydyn Street, Gateshead (Army address). Described as 5 foot 10 inches tall.

Enlisted at Newcastle. Served with the Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of Tuberculosis at the Military Hospital, Cheshire, on 01/10/1917, aged 22. His army effects were left to his mother, Hester.

Buried at AISLABY (ST. MARGARET) CHURCHYARD, YORKSHIRE.
