HE WAS A THEATRE MANAGER IN CIVILIAN LIFE.

HE MARRIED AT ST LUKES CHURCH, 19/06/1915. HIS WIFE, HILDA (PEARCE) LIVED AT, 6, SALISBURY GARDENS, WELLSTED STREET, HULL AND 4, PRINCESS GROVE, ENA STREET, HULL. HIS IN LAWS, LIVED AT 60, PLANE STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).

HE ENLISTED AT HULL, ON 07/12/1915. SERVED AS A GUNNER, IN THE ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY. DIED OF GAS POISONING, AT CASTLEMOUNT HOSPITAL, DOVER, ON 03/09/1918, AGED 29. BURIED WITH RELATIVES IN HULL WESTERN CEMETERY. HIS WIDOW RETURNED TO HER PARENTS AT 60. PLANE STREET, HULL.
