BORN HULL 1887. KNOW AS “JACK” HARRISON. SON OF DAVID AND MARY HARRISON, OF 7, OXFORD TERRACE, SOUTH PARADE (1911 CENSUS), ST LUKES STREET, HULL, 53, DE GREY STREET, HULL AND 8, CASTLE STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESSES). HE WAS THE NEPHEW OF MR ENERSON, of 12, CASTLE STREET, HULL.

BEFORE THE WAR HE WORKED FOR THE NORTH EASTERN RAILWAYS.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 2ND YORKSHIRE HUSSARS (ALEXANDRA, PRINCES OF WALE’S OWN). KILLED IN ACTION, ON 21/03/1918, DURING THE FIRST DAY OF THE GERMAN SPRING OFFENSIVE. THIS WAS GERMANY’S ATTEMPT TO WIN THE WAR BEFORE THE AMERICANS JOINED THE FIGHTING. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, DAVID. HE LEFT BROTHERS, WILLIAM AND DAVID HARRISON AND SISTERS, ROSE AND KATE.
