Born Hull 1895. Son of Dryson Heaton (1865-1929) and Eliza Atkin (1866-1955), of 18, Poplar Street, Hull (War pension address). he had three brothers and three sisters. A Fish & Fruiterer’s Errand Boy.
Served as Private, 874, 1/5th East Yorkshire Cyclists. Died of Meningitis, at Colchester, on 01/06/1916, aged 21. His army effects were left to his father, Dryson.
