Holdridge, George Wilson

Born Manchester, 1893. Eldest son of Albert Edward and Ann Mary Holdridge, of Bulby Field, Pocklington. Son of a Farmer. A Farm worker in Pocklington.

He enlisted in Hull. Formerly 50513, East Riding Yeomanry. Transferred to the 2/4th King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Killed in action, on 27/08/1918, aged 25.

His army effects were left to his father, Albert.
