Huteson, Walter

Born South Ferriby, Lincolnshire, 1880. Second son of Sargeant Huteson (1849-1921) and Emma Turner (1854-1935). Son of a farm Labourer. He had three brothers and three sisters. Married Jane Ann Pearce (1882-1950), at Aldbrough, on 10/01/1904. Worked as a bricklayers labourer.

Husband of Jane Ann Huteson, of Aldbrough, Hull. They had four children – Charles Ernest, Alfred Tomlinson, Sarah Ethel and Dora Everlyn, all born between 1905-1911.

Enlisted Beverley. Formerly, Private, 27432, 22nd West Yorkshire regiment. Wounded in action. Transferred as Private, (11096) 19th Coy. Labour Corps. Died of wounds, on 01/06/1917. Buried in France. Commemorated on the Aldbrough Village Memorial.

His widow, Jane Ann, received a weekly war pension of 28/9 shillings, on 10 Oct 1917.
