BORN EASTOFT, LINCS 1889. SON OF THOMAS KELLY, SWINEFLEET AND GOOLE. THIS WAS HIS CWGC ADDRESS. ONE OF FOUR BROTHERS SERVING (THREE WERE KILLED, ANOTHER TAKEN PRISONER). SERVED WITH THE 3RD KING’S OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY. HE DIED OF WOUNDS AT DANSOM LANE HOSPITAL, ON 15/08/1915, AGED 26. BURIED HULL (HDM 18/8/15 PHOTO).
