Married at Patrington, in 1916. Husband of Maud Kendall, of 21, Klondyke Avenue, Stoneferry, Hull (War Pension address). They had one so, Horace William, born on 2nd August 1917.
A Professional Soldier (1911 Census). He enlisted at Aldershot, Hampshire. Served in the 8th Leicestershire Regiment. Killed in action, on 3rd May 1917, aged 21. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.
His army effects were left to his widow, Maud Chapman.
