Enlisted at Middlesbrough. Posted to France, on 2nd October 1915. Served in the 1/4th EYR, 9th and 8th Yorkshire Regiment.. Died of Broncho Pneumonia, in Italy, on 20/10/1918.
His army effects were left to his widow, Rose, who moved to 28 Brunswick street, Stockton on Tees, Durham.
