BORN HULL 1878. SON OF THOMAS FREDERICK LARARD (1851-1927) AND AMY PALLISER MARTIN (1851-1900). SON OF A SHIPPING SUPER INDENDENT. BROTHER TO GEORGE, STANLY AND HILDA LARAD.
HE MARRIED ADA GEMBLE (1887-1952) AT ST STEPHENS, HULL, IN 1909. HIS WIFE ADA LARRARD, LIVED AT 67, SANDRINGHAM STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS) AND 59, REGENT STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).
PRIOR TO ENLISTING HE WAS EMPLOYED AT A CORPORATION SWORN WEIGHER.
HE WAS WOUNDED IN THE RIGHT ARM BY SHELL FIRE, ON THE 4TH OCTOBER, CARRYING A WOUNDED OFFICER TO THE DRESSING STATION. HIS ARM HAD TO BE AMPUTATED AT BOULOGNE GENERAL HOSPITAL. HE DIED OF HEART FAILURE TWO DAYS AFTER THE OPERATION, ON 10/10/1917, AGED 39. HE IS BURIED AT BOULOGNE CEMETERY, FRANCE
HE LEFT A WIDOW. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 20TH OCTOBER 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *.
