Born Hull, 1898. Son of William Isaac Lawrence ( 1869-1944) and Charlotte Mary Douglas (1868-1958), of 9 Cambridge Terrace, Cambridge Street, Hull (War pension address). He had one sister, Elsie and one older brother, Robert.
He enlisted in Hull. Served with the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. He died in Hull, of Tuberculosis, on 18 Sep 1920, aged 22.
