Married at Scarborough, 1909. Husband of Hannah Livingston, of 9, Vancouver Crescent, Alexandra Road, Hull (1911 Census) and 68, Nelson St., Scarborough (CWGC address). He worked as a Butcher in Hull.
Enlisted in Hull. Served in the Royal Field Artillery, “A” Bty. 106th Bde. Killed in action, on 24/07/1917, aged 31. Buried in Belgium. His grave reads, A GOOD LIFE IS OFTEN CUT SHORT BUT A GOOD NAME ENDURETH FOR EVER
