A FORMER TERRITORIAL. HE ENLISTED IN GRIMSBY. SERVED WITH THE 3RD COLDSTREAM GUARDS. LEFT WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. DIED OF WOUNDS, AT NO:4 CLEARING STATION, COULOMMIERS, ON 09/09/1914, AGED 24.
