SERVED WITH THE 16TH MIDDLESEX REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, AT BEAUMONT HAMEL, ON 01/07/1916, AGED 20. HE HAD SERVED IN THE ARMY FOR 322 DAYS. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER GEORGE.
