Born Thirsk, 1879. A railway plate layer. He married Maude Mary Appleby, at Thirsk in 1917 . Husband of Maude Mason, of Maunby Gate House, Thirsk, Yorks. Enlisted at York. Served with the 12th/13th Northumberland fusiliers. Died on 04/10/1917, aged 37.
