HE ENLISTED IN NOTTINGHAM, ON 11/11/1915/ CALLED UP ON 24/02/1916. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 3716, EAST SURREY REGIMENT. TRANSFERRED TO THE 15TH SHERWOOD FORESTERS, ON 10/06/1918.
