HE SERVED AS A MERCHANT SEAMAN OF THE TRAWLER “CELIA”. COMMEMRATED ON FAMILY GRAVE AT HULL HEDON ROAD CEMETERY
On January 8th, 1915, the British trawler CELIA went missing in the North Sea. She was not heard of ever since and was probably sunk by enemy action. 9 crew lost their lives.
