BORN HULL 12/11/1892. ELDEST SON OF HENRY & ELIZABETH MORALLEE, OF 23, MARY ANNS TERRACE, GIBSON STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS), 411, WINCOLMLEE, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS) AND 99, OXFORD STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). SON OF A LABOURER. ONE OF SIX CHILDREN. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND TWO SISTERS. HE WAS A TRAMWAY WORKER.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, SERGEANT, 10023, 1ST EYR. TRANSFERRED TO THE 1/4TH WEST RIDING REGIMENT.  KILLED IN ACTION 14/04/1918, AGED 26.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, ELIZABETH. COMMEMORATED AT TYNE COT CEMETERY.

HIS BROTHER, HARRY MORALLEE SERVED WITH THE COLDSTREAM GUARDS AND WAS WOUNDED IN THE RIGHT WRIST. HIS BROTHE WALTER DIED IN 1915 AGED 12.
