HE MARRIED AT HULL, IN 1906. HIS WIFE, FRANCES ANN LAMMING (1886-1957), OF 10 WINDSOR ROAD, KINGS LYNN, NORFOLK. A BASKET MAKER BY TRADE (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).
HE JOINED THE ARMY RESERVES ON 16/06/1916. CALLED UP, ON 15/06/1917. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 22/10/1917.
JOINED THE ANSON BATTALION, ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION, ON 14/11/1917. INVALDIDED. HE RE-JOINED HIS UNIT, ON 25/01/1918.KILLED IN ACTION, ON 19/02/1918, AGED 35.
HE IS BURIED AT FIFTEEN RAVINE BRITISH CEMETERY, VILLERS-PLOUICH, NORD, FRANCE. HE LEFT A WIDOW AND THREE CHILDREN WHO MOVED TO 2 KEPPELL STREET, KINGS LYN, NORFOLK.
