BORN HULL 1893. HIS REAL NAME WAS  “CHARLES, JAMES”. SON OF CHARLES JAMES & MARY ANN JAMES, OF 81 & 89 ST PAUL STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). BROTHERS, WILLIAM & GEORGE. SISTERS, CECILIA, HARRIET AND GERTRUDE. HE WAS A FARM LABOURER, USED TO HORSES. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 5.5 INCHES TALL, 136 LBS  WEIGHT, 37-39 INCH CHEST, BLUE EYES, BROWN HAIR, SCAR ON FORHEAD, WESLEYAN RELIGION.

HE ENLISTED AT SEAFORTH, ON 11TH SEPTEMBER 1912. SERVED AS, TROOPER, 31464, 2ND DRAGOON GUARDS, (QUEENS BAYS) RESERVE CAVALRY REGIMENT. CONVICTED OF BURGLARY IN A CIVIL COURT, ON 8TH APRIL 1913. DISCHARGED FOR MISCONDUCT, ON 15TH MAY 1913.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. HE SERVED AS “GEORGE PARKER”, WITH THE 1ST NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 27/09/1918, AGED 24. HE IS BURIED IN LOWRIE CEMETERY, HAVRINCOURT, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, CHARLES JAMES.
