Born Hull, 1899. Son of Frederick Robert Peat and Margaret Peat, of 14, Essex Road, Milton, Portsmouth, (War Pension address). Son of a shipwright.
He enlisted in Portsmouth. Served with the Duke of Cambridge’s Own (Middlesex) Regiment. Posted to 19th Bn. London Regiment. Killed in France, on 22/08/1919, aged 19.
