Enlisted London. Served as Lance Corporal, Honourable Artillery Company, 2nd Bn (Infantry Battalion). Killed in action, in Italy, on 04/07/1918, aged 31. His grave inscription reads, “HALLOWED IS HIS NAME IN THE HOME HE LOVED MARY”.
His army effects were left to his widow, Mary. He left her £183 in his will at this Probate Address.
