HE ENLISTED IN EDMONTON, CANADA ON 18/09/1915. SERVED WITH THE 10TH ALBERTA REGIMENT, CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, KILLED IN ACTION WEST OF COURCELETTE, ON 26/09/1916, AGED 19. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE VIMY RIDGE MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
