Born Hull 1891. Son of Samuel and Emily Robinson, of 10, Ann’s Place Chapman Street, Hull (1911 Census) and 77, Bright Street, Holderness Road, Hull (war Pension Address). He had four brothers and three sisters. Worked as a Labourer.
He enlisted at Newcastle. Served in the 1st/6th Bn., Northumberland Fusiliers. Died of wounds, on 15/09/1916, aged 25. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
